As we sit back and reflect on this incredible journey, one word keeps coming to minds-gratitude. When we first set out to raise funds for the Cancer Council, we had a goal in mind, but what we experienced along the way was beyond anything we could have imagined.
From the very start, the outpouring of generosity, love, and support was overwhelming. Donations flooded in, messages of encouragement kept our spirits high, and on the big day, we were surrounded by an amazing community-both in person and from afar. The emotions were raw as we shaved and coloured our hair, each of us feeling the weight of what this meant, not just for ourselves, but for those affected by cancer.
We want to extend our deepest thanks to every single person who contributed-whether through donations, words of encouragement, or simply by being there to share this experience with us. Every dollar raised will go towards vital cancer research, support services, and prevention programs that truly make a difference.

The Final Countdown: Our Last Day Before the Big Change
As we wake up on this final day before our hair transformations, the reality is sinking in - this is it. The last time we’ll run our fingers through our hair as it is now. The last time we’ll see our reflections before we make a bold change for an even bolder cause.
This journey has been so much more than just a fundraiser. It’s been a challenge, a statement, and a testament to the power of community. We started as a team of six, but through the kindness and generosity of so many, we’ve become part of something much bigger - a movement of support, hope, and action in the fight against cancer.
Mixed Emotions & Final Reflections
There’s excitement, of course, knowing that tomorrow, we’ll be wearing our new looks with pride. But there’s also a sense of reflection. This hair we’re about to part with? It’s just hair. It will grow back. But for so many battling cancer, the experience of losing their hair isn’t a choice. It’s a reminder of the fight they never signed up for.
That’s why we’re doing this. To show solidarity. To start conversations. To raise funds that will help provide crucial research, support services, and hope for those affected.

As we approach the final three days of our fundraising campaign for Cancer Council, we want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible journey so far and the amazing team effort that has made it all possible.
From the start, our goal has been clear: to raise as much as we can for cancer research and support services. But what - made this journey truly special is the support from our community -the people who have joined us in this mission and made it a collective effort.
The Power of Teamwork
It’s been nothing short of inspiring to witness how each persons contribution has added up to something greater than any one of us could have achieved alone. Whether it’s been through generous donations, sharing our message, or just offering words of encouragement, every action has played a crucial role in getting us this far.
Our team-whether big or small-has shown what can happen when people come together with a shared purpose. It’s a reminder that, in the fight against cancer, we’re re all in this together. Every step, every dollar, every share has brought us closer to our goal, and the impact we’re making is real.

As the big shave gets closer, our team is feeling a mix of excitement and nerves! It’s been an incredible journey so far, and we can’t thank you enough for all the support we’ve received.
For all of us, this fundraiser is personal, but for our teammate Belinda, it means even more. Last year, she lost her husband to cancer—a heartbreaking reminder of why funding research, prevention, and support services is so important. We’re doing this not just for him, but for every family affected by cancer.
The Countdown Is On!
So far, we’ve raised $3230 for the Cancer Council, and we’re pushing to go even further! With only 9 Days to go, we’re getting ready to rock some wild hairstyles before the clippers come out.
