How Kerrin painted the town pink!
For her first ever Cancer Council fundraiser, Kerrin held an amazing pink-themed event at Knox Club in Wantirna, with a whopping 150 friends attending! Kerrin raised an incredible $4,345 to go towards support women affected by cancer. Well done Kerrin!
What to expect
When you register to fundraise through your event, you’ll get your own personalised page to share your story and event, check how your fundraising is going, and thank your donors. You can also receive messages through your page, and it will include some handy resources to help you spread the word on social media. See an example of a fundraising page below.

Ideas for fundraising
As long as you want to help free the future from cancer, there’s a number of ways you can do it. Choose one from a number of other options below – anything you do will make a big difference!
Get Active
Unleash your inner fitness freak: Run a half-marathon, do 100 daily push-ups for a month, or commit to 10,000 steps a day. The options are endless!
Shave
Shave it all off, try a different new ‘do or a crazy colour. Or let your donors decide!
Host an event
Host a big (or small) night in, a round of Zoom trivia or a physically-distanced dance party (when you can!) and ask guests to donate what they would have spent heading out on the town!
Give up your gifts
Anniversary, birthday or Bar/Bat Mitzvah coming up? Ask for donations instead of gifts to make the celebration extra special!
