Every year more than 35,000 Victorians hear the words ‘you have cancer’.

Thanks in part to generous Victorians, 7 in 10 of them will survive five years after a cancer diagnosis, but there’s still so much work to be done.

My little daughter had these beautiful locks of hair which she wanted to cut and share with another beautiful little angel who is critically ill and undergoing treatments and very much needs a wig to feel good about herself and stay positive. So she has done her part very well and is now my turn to do my bit.

We have therefore decided to do fundraising for Cancer Council Victoria - providing a tiny chuck of financial support for the massive job they are doing to help and stop cancer.

As a close family member of a cancer victim, I know how important early diagnosis and prompt treatment is.
