Whoop whoop!I’m fundraising for Cancer Council Victoria to help stop cancer.
By the end of 2021, more than 150, 000 Australians will hear the words ‘you have cancer’. I'd imagine it is an isolating and devastating piece of news to receive and - after watching beloved family members and friends face this challenge - I want to do something to ensure that less people hear these words and that better supports exist for those who do.
When Cait and I organised our doomed world backpacking trip in 2020, I decided to grow my hair and it has now been over two years since I have had a cut. I think it's time, but I'd like to have something positive come from the full head shave I have booked on December 13th 2021.
As such, I am seeking to raise money for the Cancer Council Victoria and will also be donating my hair to Sustainable Salons to help provide for people who need it more than me.
By supporting the exposure of what will likely be a rather misshapen head, you’re funding life-saving cancer treatments, prevention programs, and support services that ensure no one has to face cancer alone.
