Fresh Start for 2021 - Fundraise for Cancer Council

I’m fundraising for Cancer Council Victoria to help stop cancer.

As someone who has lost her mum to lung cancer, I have experienced many unbearable nights just hating this disease and soaking myself in darkness. 

This year, 2020, I got married. My mum wasn’t there to see me walking down the aisle to my new chapter in life. It was my happiest moment full of sorrow. 

This December 10th, would have been mum’s 59 years old birthday. I want to start this fundraiser on this special day, in memory of my mum, hoping to bring awareness of health, well-being and to support Cancer Council. 

Cancer Council needs our support more than ever this year. Every dollar raised gives hope for a cancer free future. By supporting my fundraiser, you’re funding life-saving cancer treatments, prevention programs, and support services that ensure no one has to face cancer alone. 

As we move into 2021, I’m cutting my hair short for a fresh start.
