It‘s been one week since the chop and I just wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone who supported me or donated to the fundraiser.
I am proud to have more than doubled my target, raising $2504 for the Cancer Council to invest in life-saving cancer research, prevention programs, and support services that ensure no one has to face cancer alone.

The 19th of January at 4:30pm is when 36cm of my hair will be chopped off and donated to Sustainable Salons.
If you haven't yet donated and would like to contribute to this important cause, I would truly appreciate your support to help me reach my target of $1000 towards live-saving cancer treatments, prevention programs and support services.

I’m fundraising for Cancer Council Victoria to help stop cancer.
Every year more than 35,000 Victorians hear the words ‘you have cancer’.
Thanks in part to generous Victorians, 7 in 10 of them will survive five years after a cancer diagnosis, but there’s still so much work to be done.
Cancer Council needs our support more than ever this year. Every dollar raised gives hope for a cancer free future. By supporting my event, you’re funding life-saving cancer treatments, prevention programs, and support services that ensure no one has to face cancer alone.
For many years now I have been growing my hair to donate it towards this cause. I have always felt very fortunate to have long, blonde hair and hope that through my donation I can bless someone else and raise some funds and awareness along the way.
My hair is being donated to Sustainable Salons. As it is over 36cm and uncoloured, it can be used to create a wig for a child who is going through medically induced hair-loss conditions including cancer or alopecia.
