I'm donating my hair and need your help for a good cause

Hi, everyone, my name is Peter, and I have made the decision to make a difference by cutting and donating my hair to be made into a wig for someone who has lost their hair due to a medical condition. I've been growing my hair throughout lockdown to eventually donate my hair to a great cause. After almost 2 years of growth, the time has come for the curls to go. I've decided to donate to Variety so they can create a wig for a child in need. 

I'll be chopping off 35.5cm of hair to donate. The date hasn't been finalized due to covid but I hope the date of my big chop will hopefully be close to October. 

My aim is to raise some funds to send along with my hair donation. It costs families up to $6,000 per wig, lasting 1-2 years, meaning families can spend tens of thousands of dollars on the purchase of wigs throughout a child’s youth. By making a donation to Variety you can help provide a wig or other vital equipment to a child in need.
