Just a update on my personal challenge to walk 1000km in 30 days.

Unfortunately my bad leg gave way on me so I had to have some rest days and reduce my walking. I hope to be back on track soon. If you can and want to donate to the Cancer Council foundation just follow my link on my fund raiser pages.

Hi Guys,

I am challenging myself to walk 1000km in 30 days, I am hoping to raise awareness & money for the Cancer Council foundation. Unfortunately my journey with Cancer started in 2012, when I was diagnosed with Anal Carcinoma, it really took me by surprise as I was a healthy person. However, one little spot!! Had grown into a large growth which required surgery to remove it.

In 2021 I was diagnosed with a Sarcoma Tumour in my Buttock/Leg and also BPH. Again this was a complete shock .

I am telling my story to raise awareness of this terrible disease that kills and maims many people.

I’m fundraising for Cancer Council Victoria to help stop cancer.

Every year more than 35,000 Victorians hear the words ‘you have cancer’.

Thanks in part to generous Victorians, 7 in 10 of them will survive five years after a cancer diagnosis, but there’s still so much work to be done.

Cancer Council needs our support more than ever this year. Every dollar raised gives hope for a cancer free future. By supporting my walk, you’re funding life-saving cancer treatments, prevention programs, and support services that ensure no one has to face cancer alone.
