By the end of today, everyone will have taken the trim. We decided to start this fundraiser to assist future research into cancer prevention and cures. We personally understand the impact this disease can have, so to take a shave or trim is the least we can do.We want to put an end to cancer
Discussing with my mates in year 11, we all decided cancer had a big effect on not only our lives, but those in the community around us. By shaving our heads we thought it would be a fun way to raise money and a way to demonstrate community and support. Other students are choosing to dye their hair or have a quick trim, joining in either way.
Feel free to donate or simply share our story as we try to raise money towards researching cures for such a cruel and at times, painful condition.
