Well! By week two, we'd surpassed the target of $1000, so let's go for $2000!I'm now also being joined by the awesome Tully from Tassie who will be shaving his beard along with me (He'll be shaving, even if I colour mine)!

I’m fundraising for Cancer Council Victoria to help stop cancer.
Every year, over 35,000 Victorians are diagnosed with a form of cancer. It’s no wonder that almost all of us know someone who has had cancer, and far too many of us know someone who has died from cancer.
While many of you would know that Multiple Sclerosis runs in my family, you may not be aware that my family has also been impacted by cancer, as well. Additionally, several people I love and respect have suffered, or are suffering from, cancer.
Now while I normally take part in the MS Walk, Run +Roll to raise funds for MS Australia, I’ve decided to go a different route for fundraising for The Cancer Council Victoria.
Ask yourself, what’s my most distinguishing feature? You probably said my beard, right? In my day to day job, I often introduce myself as “Matt with a Beard” to distinguish myself from my colleague who’s also names Matt. It’s been over a decade since my chin last saw sunlight.
The obvious choice for fundraising is “Shave!”, however I’m aware some people are horrified at the prospect of seeing my dimpled chin, so I don’t want to discourage them from donating. What to do?!
So, when you donate, in the comments you can say either “Shave!” or you can say “Colour!” At the end of the fundraising period, whichever choice has raised the most, I’ll either be clean shaven for a month or have a pink beard for a month!
