I’m fundraising for Cancer Council Victoria to help stop cancer.
I'm shaving my head for a cure because cancer has deeply impacted the people around me and their families —my dear friend and colleague recently passed suddenly at age 39yrs from an aggressive cancer, another dear friend and father of my son's mate, member of the PMBA (Port Macquarie Body Board Assoc.) is currently in the early stages of bowel cancer treatment, a mother in our beloved Vikings Rugby club family is fighting stage #3 breast cancer, and now another of my son's mates is facing leukemia at age 16yrs.
This act is more than just shaving your head; it's a symbol of solidarity, strength, and support for those fighting cancer and a tribute to those lost. It’s a way to raise awareness, inspire hope, and contribute to vital research and treatments that could save lives in the future.
Through this, you’re standing with families, friends, and communities affected by cancer, showing that no one fights alone.
