I’m fundraising for Cancer Council Victoria to help stop cancer.
We have been growing our hair since the start of Covid 2020 because we want to donate as much hair as we can to people with cancer. We will both chop our hair to our shoulders and try to raise as much money as we can for charity.
Eleanor - I want to cut my hair and give it to people with cancer as its a kind thing to do to help them feel better about themselves.
Meaghan - I want to chop my hair so cancer people can have wigs as they lose their hair.
The big chop will be Monday 23rd Jan 2023.
Every year more than 35,000 Victorians hear the words ‘you have cancer’.
Thanks in part to generous Victorians, 7 in 10 of them will survive five years after a cancer diagnosis, but there’s still so much work to be done.
Cancer Council needs our support more than ever this year. Every dollar raised gives hope for a cancer free future. By supporting my event, you’re funding life-saving cancer treatments, prevention programs, and support services that ensure no one has to face cancer alone.
