It’s making me happy seeing that there’s so many donations from people. I got an email that says the money can buy special equipment for a laboratory, so that’s cool.

I have changed my fundraising goal now. I didn’t want to make it too high, so I think this is a good goal to have.

I’m fundraising for Cancer Council Victoria to help stop cancer.

My name is Mitchell Dinnison. I have been growing my hair for 18 months and I am donating it to cancer. I decided to do this because it’s a good cause and because some people in my school have been doing it lately. My dads friend had cancer, and my friend from cricket had cancer a few years ago, and he went bald.

When I donate my hair, they will make it into a wig to keep people’s head warm, and so people don’t tease them just because they’re bald and have cancer.

If you donate, the money will go to scientists so they can find a cure for cancer. I am also going to live stream my hair being cut so you can watch it. It will be in the second week of the school holidays.
