Here's a thought.
I have over 400 friends on Facebook. If every person donated just $10, that's over $4000 toward research, treatment, and care for someone. I'm sure we all know more than one person affected by cancer.I’m fundraising for Cancer Council Victoria to help stop cancer.
As a Palliative Care Nurse I have seen the battle not only for the patient but also their family. Not only will I be fundraising for the Cancer Council, I will also be chopping my hair for a wig to hopefully make someone's day a little brighter.
Every year more than 35,000 Victorians hear the words ‘you have cancer’.
Thanks in part to generous Victorians, 7 in 10 of them will survive five years after a cancer diagnosis, but there’s still so much work to be done.
Cancer Council needs our support more than ever this year. Every dollar raised gives hope for a cancer free future. By supporting my event, you’re funding life-saving cancer treatments, prevention programs, and support services that ensure no one has to face cancer alone.
