I’m fundraising for Cancer Council Victoria to help stop cancer.

Many family members of mine have had or currently have a form of cancer. Most of them have passed away due to it and currently my 22 year old cousin is undergoing chemo to battle multiple lymphomas in his body.

After an injury, a tumour was found in my leg and of course it could have been cancer, but fortunately for me, mine was benign. The scare was enough to realise it is too prevalent in today’s age, too many people, including young children, are suffering and have the potential to suffer from cancer. I’m walking for those who didn’t get the chance to beat it, for those who are enduring it, and for those who may suffer from it in the future.

Every year more than 35,000 Victorians hear the words ‘you have cancer’.

Cancer Council needs our support more than ever this year. Every dollar raised gives hope for a cancer free future. By donating to this fundraiser, you’re funding life-saving cancer treatments, prevention programs, and support services that ensure no one has to face cancer alone. Even the smallest donation counts, if you don’t want to donate start a fundraising page and try to share it with others as you exercise.

God bless!
