Hair chop date set!
We finally have approval for my hair chopping event at our school assembly on March 21st at 9am. I have asked a few special people to be involved in the cutting of some plaits which will then be donated to Sustainable Salons. Our school has also supported my cause and will run a casual day with gold coin donations going towards my donation to the Cancer council. Feels to good to be supporting those touched by cancer!Fundraising to continue in 2022
Thanks so much to everyone who has kindly donated. Things got a little crazy towards the end of last year and so I’ve requested to extend my fundraising into 2022. More to come very soon. JessiI’m fundraising for Cancer Council Victoria to help stop cancer.

By supporting my fundraiser, you’re funding life-saving cancer treatments, prevention programs, and support services that ensure no one has to face cancer alone.
My name is Jessi and I am 14 years old. Towards the end of 2021, I will be chopping my hair to raise funds and awareness for the Cancer Council. I hope to donate about 35cm of my hair to Sustainable Salons (who works with other organisations such as Variety - the Children’s Charity to help those experiencing hair loss due to illness) and donate all money directly to the Cancer Council.
