Cancer has touched my family personally. A close family member was diagnosed with cancer, and while we’re incredibly grateful they beat it, witnessing their journey showed me just how challenging a cancer diagnosis can be, not only for the person affected, but for everyone who loves them.
Every year, more than 35,000 Victorians hear the words, “you have cancer.” Thanks to the incredible work of Cancer Council Victoria and the generosity of supporters, more people than ever are surviving and receiving the care they need. But there’s still so much more to do.
Every dollar donated helps fund life-saving research, prevention programs, and vital support services so that no one has to face cancer alone.
