In Memory of our Loved Ones

In memory of Dave Roberts whom we lost to cancer this year.   His birthday is on the 7th December, which inspired me to do this walk. 

We also walk in memory of so many others who lost their battle with cancer.  My Mum Marian, Dad Frank, Cousin Louise and my friends, Derry, David and Michelle.

Thanks to wonderful research I have been one of the lucky ones.

Every year over 34,000 Victorians hear the words ‘you have cancer’.

Thanks in part to generous Victorians, 7 in 10 of them will survive five years after a cancer diagnosis, but there’s still so much work to be done.

I'm helping Cancer Council Victoria by joining Walking Stars – a night-time walking half marathon in Melbourne’s CBD with a difference!
