Why am i cutting my Hair
For the past two years I have been growing my hair. It came across me around the end of 2021 that my hair will be long enough to donate to make a wig out of. I have kept growing my hair and now it is at a ridiculous length, and I thought what better to do then cut it all off and donate it. I hope to bring more awareness towards cancer, specifically breast cancer and raise as much money as I can to go towards it.I’m fundraising for Cancer Council Victoria to help stop cancer.
Every year more than 35,000 Victorians hear the words ‘you have cancer’.
Thanks in part to generous Victorians, 7 in 10 of them will survive five years after a cancer diagnosis, but there’s still so much work to be done.
Cancer Council needs our support more than ever this year. Every dollar raised gives hope for a cancer free future. By supporting my event, you’re funding life-saving cancer treatments, prevention programs, and support services that ensure no one has to face cancer alone.
