Give Cancer the boot
Every year more than 35,000 Victorians hear the words ‘you have cancer’.
Thanks in part to generous Victorians, 7 in 10 of them will survive five years after a cancer diagnosis, but there’s still so much work to be done.
Cancer Council needs our support more than ever this year. Every dollar raised gives hope for a cancer free future. By supporting my walk, you’re funding life-saving cancer treatments, prevention programs, and support services that ensure no one has to face cancer alone.
I would love your support in raising money for cancer as a WHOLE, a cause that in one way or another has affected many of our homes and hearts. Every little bit counts, and together through a small donation, a share or a like we can raise awareness, getting one step closer to a cancer free future.
Wouldn’t that be amazing ??!
Over the course of the next 8 weeks, I will walk 280kms at 5kms per day, incorporating my military training ending the last weekend with a pack March in honour of the warriors who have lost their battle to cancer, those who are currently affected by cancer, to the warriors who have kicked cancers ass and to the families of those affected.
If you would also like to keep your fitness levels up while supporting an extremely important cause, you are MORE than welcome to join me on this 8 week journey.
Let’s give cancer the boot
