I’m fundraising for the cancer council in support of my friend and colleague Eden Foster MP, who is currently undergoing treatment for lymphoma! If we reach $10k, I'll make the shave!
Every year more than 35,000 Victorians hear the words ‘you have cancer’.
My dear friend and colleague, Eden Foster MP, State Member for Mulgrave, recently received this news when she was diagnosed with lymphoma. Eden is currently undergoing chemotherapy at the world leading Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in Melbourne.
That's why I'm doing this fundraiser to support the work of the Cancer Council Victoria. Every dollar raised gives hope for a cancer free future.
If we reach the $10,000 target, I will shave my head in at Parliament House on a sitting day in October.
The person who makes the largest single donation (as at 5pm Monday 14 October) will also have the honour of taking the clippers to my locks!
By supporting my event, you’re funding life-saving cancer treatments, prevention programs, and support services that ensure no one has to face cancer alone.
