Hair Chopped!

Over the break, I finally chopped my hair, and we've NOW raised more than triple the fundraising target which is absolutely incredible!
What a huge effort from each and every single one of you, from the many generous donations to all the interactions on the fundraising posts. I truly have an amazing group of friends, family and work family helping out for a great cause.
(This length of hair is also waaay easier to maintain!)

I’m fundraising for Cancer Council Victoria to help stop cancer.

I've been growing my hair out for over 4 years and now I'll be chopping most of it off (I'm not brave enough to shave) to help fundraise for Cancer Council.

This is my 2nd time donating my hair to be made into a wig and I thought that this time round it would be great to also fundraise for this cause.

My family has a history of cancer and sadly the same can be said for many others too. So if you'd like to contribute, anything at all will be appreciated! Every dollar counts and will help Cancer Council with cancer research & prevention, and most of all support those who need it most.

Thanks so much for reading and I appreciate all your donations and support! I'll be chopping my hair at home on Christmas Day (a wonderful gift to my family for not having to deal with my random long strands of hair everywhere), so stay tuned!



Every year more than 35,000 Victorians hear the words ‘you have cancer’.

Thanks in part to generous Victorians, 7 in 10 of them will survive five years after a cancer diagnosis, but there’s still so much work to be done.

Cancer Council needs our support more than ever this year. Every dollar raised gives hope for a cancer free future. By supporting my hair chop, you’re funding life-saving cancer treatments, prevention programs, and support services that ensure no one has to face cancer alone.
