We did it!

It's official, this fundraising journey is at its end. The money raised has surpassed my target (all thanks to you guys!!), assisting in the continuation of ground-breaking research and helping better the lives of cancer patients and their loved ones. As well as this, my hair has been cut- totalling over 30cm to be donated- just as promised.

I want to thank everyone a final time for all the support and for allowing me this opportunity, it was immensely gratifying and humbling and if nothing else has certainly planted a seed in my heart to want to do more wherever I can. 

Remember, there is always more to be done, and I can't wait to be part of it all. 


Target Reached!

I can't believe we've managed to raise over $500. Thank you to everyone who donated or spread the word, I'm forever grateful. 

I thought I'd share some of the ways this money has helped with information from the Cancer Council:
With the $500 raised by us, someone may be given the chance to have 5 sessions with a nurse counsellor or psychologist to help with cancer-related challenges.

The donations may also go towards:
- world-class cancer research that improves the way cancer is prevented, detected and treated
- cancer support services that ensure no one has to go through cancer alone, no matter where they live
- cancer prevention programs that reduce the risk of cancer in our communities
and many other helpful resources!

Hair Cut Length

Hey guys!

First of all, thank you all so much for the support. Your kind words and donations have overwhelmed me with appreciation. We're so close to the $500 target!

I've had a couple of questions in regards to the length of hair being cut, so I've added a picture with a line at the top of my 30 cm estimation. Right now it is down to my waist but will be cut to above my shoulders.

I’m fundraising for Cancer Council Victoria to help stop cancer.

These past couple of years have been tough for everyone, and now with the North Coast area getting flooded (twice) and many people losing everything, I wanted to do something to help. 

I don't have much to donate in terms of things, but I do have hair and time.  So, I'm cutting 30cm of my hair to send off to be made into a wig so someone and I may be twins!

In spite of the current situation of the world, it's also important to remember and support those who have been struggling long before all this. 

For those I've known and lost, for those I know and are still fighting, and for those I don't know, here's my way of saying I see you <3
