I’m fundraising for Cancer Council Victoria to help stop cancer.
Every year more than 35,000 Victorians hear the words ‘you have cancer’.
Thanks in part to generous Victorians, 7 in 10 of them will survive five years after a cancer diagnosis, but there’s still so much work to be done.
Cancer Council needs our support more than ever this year. Every dollar raised gives hope for a cancer free future. By supporting my walk, you’re funding life-saving cancer treatments, prevention programs, and support services that ensure no one has to face cancer alone.
The main theme of our campaign is "Skip A Meal, Help Someone Heal". The average amount spent by a person on food per day is about $4 at the minimum. The population of Australia is about 20 million. If each of us skip a meal and donate that amount to a cause, imagine the amount of change that we can bring in. With this theme, we are working with Cancer Council, Australia to raise funds for them on this World Cancer Day, 4th February. While you are not having an actual meal, you are invited to have a Virtual Meal by slicing some fruits playing the A.I. based version of the popular Fruit Ninja game.

Hope this donation helps in any possible small way
