TaxSmart Cafe's September Step-it-up Challenge!


As part of TaxSmart Cafe-lympics in September 2023, TaxSmart Cafe team members embarked on a challenge towards becoming more healthy by taking at least 10k steps a day. This is especially important as the team continues to work remotely and to attend back to back meetings with clients during the busy tax season.

Out of the 17 participants, 6 have successfully met the goal! TaxSmart Cafe donated additional $600 ($100 for each champs) to the fundraising campaign.

This August, TaxSmart Cafe is turning tax-time into hope-time with our 'August of Hope' campaign. For every tax return you file with us, we're giving $2. And for every new business, trust or SMSF engagement? That's a bold $50 going straight to the Cancer Council Victoria made possible by you!

TaxSmart Cafe is fundraising for Cancer Council Victoria to help stop cancer.

As an Accounting firm, TaxSmart Cafe's vision of wealth creation for our clients and the community is holistic. 

Along with providing top-notch accounting and taxation services, we strongly believe that financial literacy coupled with wellness such as mental, physical and emotional is the true wealth. 

Thus, as part of celebrating TaxSmart Cafe's Financial Literacy Month on 21st October 2023, we are also fundraising for Cancer Council Victoria. 

Cancer Council needs the support to fund life-saving cancer treatments, prevention programs, and support services that ensure no one has to face cancer alone. The reality is that every year more than 35,000 Victorians hear the words ‘you have cancer’. Thanks in part to generous Victorians, 7 in 10 of them will survive five years after a cancer diagnosis, although there’s still so much work to be done that needs support.
