Welcome and introduction

Hi everyone, thank you for looking into my project page. Here I'd just like to introduce myself and give some information about my goals and who I am.

I'm currently completing the IB Diploma at Presbyterian Ladies' College in Melbourne, Victoria and am looking towards a career in medicine. My passions include running, playing sport, spending time with friends, nature, and cooking great food!

As a great runner, I thought of an idea- why not team up with a few other IB students at my school- to take part in a fundraiser project that will help support Cancer Council Victoria to stop cancer? It's these little choices that we make that in the long term, contribute to a global issue. Our actions and decision to run will benefit the community.

Our goal is to run 1200 km in 18 months' time, and to raise $1000 each for a combined total of $3000 for charity.

I’m fundraising for Cancer Council Victoria to help stop cancer.

Every year more than 35,000 Victorians hear the words ‘you have cancer’.

Thanks in part to generous Victorians, 7 in 10 of them will survive five years after a cancer diagnosis, but there’s still so much work to be done.
