I’m fundraising for Cancer Council Victoria to help stop cancer.
Hi my name is Scarlett and I’m 11 years of age.
I’ve decided to shave my head for a cause I’m passionate about; CANCER.
I have experienced cancer around me from before I was born. It started with my grandfather passing away before I was born and recently my great uncle passing away of cancer. However the main person my dad being diagnosed of bowel cancer. My dad is my hero and being told he had cancer made me very sad. My dad has recovered but this experience made me put the wheels in motion to shave my hair for and raise money for this amazing charity.
I feel this is the smallest sacrifice that I can make to bring attention and raise money for this important cause. I will also donate my hair to be made into a wig to help others that need hair.
