The Date is Set

Wow, thank you so much to all the friends and family who have generously donated so far. It means a lot to have so much support.
Well... the date for my big chop has been set! I will be getting my hair cut off on Tuesday the 5th of October at 1pm at Carolyn McClennan's Hairdressing at Latrobe. My hairdresser Ros has very generously offered to donate her time free of charge to support me. 
I will continue to fund raise up until this time and am happy to take cash donations if it is easier. Thanks again for all the support, it means a lot xxx

I’m fundraising for Cancer Council Victoria to help stop cancer.

I have been growing my hair for several years now with the idea of cutting it off to donate it to an organisation to make wigs for those suffering hair loss due to cancer and other illnesses. 

Before Christmas sometime I will finally be getting my long auburn locks cut off and donating them to Sustainable Salons. 

Cancer effects many people across the world and so alonside the donation of my hair, I have decided to also raise some much needed funds for the Cancer Council.

The Cancer Council needs our support more than ever this year. Every dollar raised gives hope for a cancer free future. By supporting my big chop, you’re funding life-saving cancer treatments, prevention programs, and support services that ensure no one has to face cancer alone.
