My target 50 kms

Last day of June.

This month has led me to learn resilience and understand how far my body can actually take me and instead of giving up at 2kms I started pushing myself to the 4/5kms not only is this challenge helping millions of others it also helped me. Thank you to everyone for all the support and love.

I’m fundraising for Cancer Council Victoria to help stop cancer.

Every year more than 35,000 Victorians hear the words ‘you have cancer’.

Thanks in part to generous Victorians, 7 in 10 of them will survive five years after a cancer diagnosis, but there’s still so much work to be done.

Cancer Council needs our support more than ever this year. Every dollar raised gives hope for a cancer free future. By supporting my fitness activity, you’re funding life-saving cancer treatments, prevention programs, and support services that ensure no one has to face cancer alone.

Over  the years many friends and family members have been diagnosed with cancer. To see the toll it takes on the body is truly heartbreaking. Nobody deserves to go through that this is why this June I decided to run 50kms  to raise money to support the cancer council for research, funding, prevention programs and support services. To make sure that everyone who is going through this horrible disease is not alone.  Your donations and support is greatly appreciated not only by me but also the cancer council and many Australians and people around the world.
