We're fundraising for Cancer Council Victoria to help stop cancer.

Every year more than 35,000 Victorians hear the words ‘you have cancer’ that's life changing for these individuals and their loved ones.

In our very own Melbourne CCaSS team, some of us have experienced the ripple effects of these words.

Thanks in part to generous Victorians, 7 in 10 of them will survive five years after a cancer diagnosis, but there’s still so much work to be done.

Cancer Council needs our support more than ever this year. Every dollar raised gives hope for a cancer free future.

By supporting my colleagues and I in our endeavour to summit five of Victoria's highest mountains in 2024, you’re funding life-saving cancer treatments, prevention programs, and support services that ensure no one has to face cancer alone.

The 5 shortlisted peaks include, Mt. Feathertop, The Bluff, Mt. Howitt, Mt. Baw Baw, and the highest peak in Victoria and the second highest in Australia Mt. Bogong. We will also be sharing pictures and updates after each hike - the first is planned on the 24th February 2024!

Courage is the measure of our heartfelt participation with life, with another, with a community, a work; a future. To be courageous is not necessarily to go anywhere or do anything except to make conscious those things we already feel deeply and then to live through the unending vulnerabilities of those consequences.
