Chop the mop!

I’m fundraising for Cancer Council Victoria to help stop cancer.

More and more I am hearing of someone I know being diagnosed with cancer or their lives have been tragically taken by it. It is either someone I know personally or a friend of a friend. The seed was planted when beautiful 9 year old Bella told me one day while having a haircut she would like to do shave for a cure and help sick people. SHE'S 9!!

A dear friend right now is going through many treatments and I am feeling so helpless. What is one small gesture I can do to make a big impact ? This is it... shave my hair.

Every year more than 35,000 Victorians hear the words ‘you have cancer’.

Thanks in part to generous Victorians, 7 in 10 of them will survive five years after a cancer diagnosis, but there’s still so much work to be done.

Cancer Council needs our support more than ever this year. Every dollar raised gives hope for a cancer free future. By supporting my event, you’re funding life-saving cancer treatments, prevention programs, and support services that ensure no one has to face cancer alone.
