I’m fundraising for Cancer Council Victoria to help stop cancer.

I have been living with cancer for the last 7 years ,and I have decided that the best way for me to help raise funds is to have this exhibition. The pieces that I have selected for this exhibition were all painted after I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. They represent a time of coming to terms with the illness and keeping the associated depression at bay. I havé painted even during the worst moments of chemotherapy. Artistic expression during this time helped me to meet each challenge with strength, and stay positive.

I have been lucky to have been a part of a clinical trial for Immune Response Therapy at the Clinical Trials Unit, Monash Clayton. These new therapies give people like and their families who love them hope.

Donations from the sales of this exhibition is my way of giving back to the cancer research community, without whom, life saving trials would not be possible.
