Save the Date for my Fundraising Event

The venue is to be confirmed but the date of the performance is on Thursday 18th April 2024.  I am writing and improvising the bits of my story that I know will resonate with an audience.  My aim is to entertain as well as show what I learned as I dealt with and still deal with the impact of Cancer on my life.  

What am I doing? A Performance 'A Tale of Two Cancers'

Hi, Thank you for reading this post.  I am on a challenge to create a solo physical theatre performance to fundraise for Cancer Council Victoria.  The performance will be in my local area of Bairnsdale in East Gippsland at the beginning of April.  My intention is that the audience is going to leave the theatre feeling uplifted and entertained.  At the same time I will have raised over $1000 along the way.  Here I am experimenting with a mask.?

I’m fundraising for Cancer Council Victoria to help stop cancer.

Every year more than 35,000 Victorians hear the words ‘you have cancer’.

Thanks in part to generous Victorians, 7 in 10 of them will survive five years after a cancer diagnosis, but there’s still so much work to be done.
