The Big C

2024 has been the worst year of my life.
Just over a month ago, my father lost his battle with The Big C.
It was brutal suffering, I felt so helpless just watching him fade away.
Short of becoming a *not very good* scientist to aid in the research or a *not very good* nurse to assist those in need, I again felt helpless in finding any solution to help those suffering, and those suffering with them.

Everyone knows someone who has just been diagnosed with The Big C, someone who is in remission, or someone currently fighting for their life. It's an all too common disease and I, quite frankly, think it can get f*cked.

To help offset the heartbreak of major loss & depression, this Father's Day I'm shaving my head to raise money for the Cancer Council in honour of my Dad.
I know money is tight for most of us, but if we all just gave up just one expensive Melbourne coffee, maybe we could do some good.
