We are almost at our $3000 target!

Thank you to all the Lumen Christi staff and families that have donated. We are almost at our $3000 target and we are blown away by the support and generosity. 
There is still time to make a donation and any amount is appreciated. Your donation will help the Cancer Council fight Cancer. Let’s not stop at our target, let’s see how much our wonderful community can raise.

Thank you again to all those that have donated, we are overwhelmed with the generosity. We reached our initial target of $2000 in just over a week so we have decided to raise our goal to $3000 as we know there are many yet to make a donation. We are excited to see how much we can raise for a foundation that has supported so many people and families through Cancer. Please use the link to make your donation or cash donations can be left at the school office. Together, the Lumen Christi community will make a difference. 

Date Set for Miss Steph's Big Chop

Miss Steph will be cutting her hair at Lumen Christi on Monday 21st of  June, more information will be sent out closer to the date.

I’m fundraising for Cancer Council Victoria to help stop cancer.

Many Lumen Christi families and staff have been impacted by Cancer. As a community Lumen Christi can help support the wonderful work of the Cancer Council by contributing to Miss Steph's Big Hair Chop. Miss Steph will be donating her hair to make wigs for those that have lost their hair during treatment. Every dollar counts, so please make a donation and lets reach our fundraising target.

Steph will have her hair cut at school before the end of Term 2, we will keep you all posted on a date once we get close to our fundraising target.

Every year more than 35,000 Victorians hear the words ‘you have cancer’.

Thanks in part to generous Victorians, 7 in 10 of them will survive five years after a cancer diagnosis, but there’s still so much work to be done.

Cancer Council needs our support more than ever this year. Every dollar raised gives hope for a cancer free future. By supporting my walk, you’re funding life-saving cancer treatments, prevention programs, and support services that ensure no one has to face cancer alone.
