I WILL BE CUTTING AND DONATING MY HAIR

To give you an idea of the difference your donation can make, check out these stats from the Cancer Council Victoria:

"-$25: Provides resources to help people in the workplace support a colleague diagnosed with cancer.

-$50: Makes sure there's a cancer nurse available on 13 11 20 to offer practical information and emotional support to callers.

-$230: Provides a financial assistance grant to someone with cancer experiencing severe financial difficulties, to help them travel to their treatments, pay their rent or keep their lights on.

-$900: Funds a high-performing science student working in a research lab for 3 weeks, enabling them to conduct ground-breaking research into new and better ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer."

I’m fundraising for Cancer Council Victoria to help stop cancer.

Every year more than 35,000 Victorians hear the words ‘you have cancer’.

Thanks in part to generous Victorians, 7 in 10 of them will survive five years after a cancer diagnosis, but there’s still so much work to be done.

Cancer Council needs our support more than ever this year. Every dollar raised gives hope for a cancer free future. By supporting me, you’re funding life-saving cancer treatments, prevention programs, and support services that ensure no one has to face cancer alone.

To help women in Australia who have been affected by hair loss through treatments from their cancers, I will be cutting off over 20 cm of my hair and ask that you all can help me raise awareness and funds for the Cancer Council Victoria.
