I’m fundraising for Cancer Council Victoria to help stop cancer.
Every year more than 35,000 Victorians hear the words ‘you have cancer’.
Thanks in part to generous Victorians, 7 in 10 of them will survive five years after a cancer diagnosis, but there’s still so much work to be done.
Cancer Council needs our support more than ever this year. Every dollar raised gives hope for a cancer free future. By supporting my event, you’re funding life-saving cancer treatments, prevention programs, and support services that ensure no one has to face cancer alone.
Hi my names Amy Jade and I am 10 year old. At the moment the weather here where I live in Victoria is getting warmer so I've been considering getting my hair cut.
But you see its not as easy as you think, I love my long curly hair and I've been growing it for some time now.
So I started thinking about how i could make a difference and I really wanted to do something meaningful. So then I thought about raising money for the Cancer council and donating my hair.
Even though it is a big change for me, I wanted to make a difference and I hope you can all support me on my journey. Any donations count even just a dollar.
