I am super excited to announce that I have officially passed my fundraising target of $1,000! A huge, huge thank you to everyone who has donated, I appreciate it more than I can say.Hair-do update!
It's official - I've locked in a time to have my hair dyed on the 23rd of March, the day before I turn 18. I am so excited to see how much money we can raise between now and then - we've just hit $100 and I'm aiming for $1,000! I want to give a huge thank you to our amazing hairdresser, Jacqui, as she has offered to do my hair for free. It's such a generous donation and I am sure she will make my hair look absolutely amazing! Many thanks to Jacqui, as well as everyone who has donated so far, love you all so much for supporting this great cause!Welcome!
This year, I've decided that instead of taking birthday gifts, I'll be driving donations for Cancer Council whilst giving my hair a fresh new do... what better way to start adulthood!? Thank you for your generosity, and know that it is going to an amazing cause.I’m fundraising for Cancer Council Victoria to help stop cancer.
Every year more than 35,000 Victorians hear the words ‘you have cancer’.
Thanks in part to generous Victorians, 7 in 10 of them will survive five years after a cancer diagnosis, but there’s still so much work to be done.
Cancer Council needs our support more than ever this year. Every dollar raised gives hope for a cancer free future. By supporting my new hair-do, you’re funding life-saving cancer treatments, prevention programs, and support services that ensure no one has to face cancer alone.
Thank you for donating towards my 18th Birthday appeal for a brighter future. Cancer is a cause close to my heart and I can't thank you enough for your generosity.
