I’m fundraising for Cancer Council Victoria to help stop cancer.
Every year more than 35,000 Victorians hear the words ‘you have cancer’.
Thanks in part to generous Victorians, 7 in 10 of them will survive five years after a cancer diagnosis, but there’s still so much work to be done.
Cancer Council needs our support more than ever this year. Every dollar raised gives hope for a cancer free future. By supporting my walk, you’re funding life-saving cancer treatments, prevention programs, and support services that ensure no one has to face cancer alone.
Working through the Cancer Council I have decided to donate 30cm of my hair to Sustainable Salons, who then continue on to donate the hair to another non-for-profit organisation such as The World's Greatest Shave or Variety the Children's Charity. Along with this I will be fundraising money for the Cancer Council as I know much hard work they put into helping people with cancer.

Cancer is something that directly affects me in my own life and it’s something no one should have to deal with. When I found out that mum had cancer, it was the first time I had cried in years. I didn’t think something so bad could happen to such a nice person, I could only imagine how you felt when you found out about your sister.
