I’m fundraising for Cancer Council Victoria to help stop cancer.
Every year more than 35,000 Victorians hear the words ‘you have cancer’. Mum heard these words in August 2020 and the shock and disbelief was unimaginable. Our lives were instantly turned upside down after hearing those 3 words.
Within 4 short months, from that day mum heard those words, she past away in November 2020.
Annually Gloria travelled 780 kilometers to Batemans Bay to visit her brother, Jim. In honour of Mum (Gloria’s) memory, we are aiming to collectively walk the 780 kilometer distance to Batemans Bay.
In the month of November, we ask you to pledge a proportion of the distance, and match your pledge with an equal donation to the Cancer Council. We suggest $1 for each kilometer.
