I’m fundraising for Cancer Council Victoria to help stop cancer.
According to the Australian Bureau of Statistics, 1.8% of people in Australia had cancer in 2022. This might not sound like many people, but this equates to almost 1 in 50 people. It's very likely that as you read this statistic, a name or a face came to mind. And, if you're like me, it isn't just one person. That is why I have decided to raise funds to support cancer research so that one day we can live in a cancer-free future.
I will also be shaving my head and donating my hair to be made into wigs for children who have lost their hair due to cancer, alopecia or other medical conditions.
