Thanks to the amazing UPPS community for getting behind Chelsea's cause. We are blown away by your generosity. Chelsea has just passed the $2000 mark which is four times her original goal. She has just received an email from the Cancer Council recognizing her efforts and the impact her fundraising may have for people living with Cancer. Stay tuned for the Big Chop on Saturday around 1pm. I will post a link to a zoom meeting for those who would like to watch.

Another Goal Achieved!

Thanks so much everyone. Chelsea will wake up to the amazing news that she has smashed her third goal! In under one week she has achieved so much. We have upped her goal to $2000. On Saturday morning (26th June) I will be posting a link to a zoom meeting so that you can see Chelsea have the Big Chop. Thank you all so much for helping Chelsea with her efforts x.

Another target smashed!

Thank you all so much. Chelsea has just had to update her target again. 
Today our family took Nanny Else to her final resting place. We spread her ashes at Peppin Point, which was one of her favourite places. All of her great grand children then placed roses on the water. It was a beautiful and emotional moment. 
Chelsea will be doing the big chop next Saturday 26th June. If you can support her please do.

Thank you so much everyone. Everyone who has donated has helped me achieve my goal of $500. We smashed it in the first 12 hours. We have changed the goal to $1000 and with your help i know we can reach it.This is an amazing achievement and you guys are helping it happen.??

Why the big chop?

Chelsea has been growing her hair since 2020. We had planned to travel to Thailand and she was super keen to have her hair braided. COVID had different plans for us and 2020 was a year we would rather have skipped. We lost some pretty near and dear people to the dreaded C word! So Chelsea changed her plans. She wants to donate her hair and is hoping to raise some much needed funds to support those suffering from cancer. If you are able to, please donate to her cause.

I’m fundraising for Cancer Council Victoria to help stop cancer.

Every year more than 35,000 Victorians hear the words ‘you have cancer’.

Thanks in part to generous Victorians, 7 in 10 of them will survive five years after a cancer diagnosis, but there’s still so much work to be done.

Cancer Council needs our support more than ever this year. Every dollar raised gives hope for a cancer free future. By supporting my walk, you’re funding life-saving cancer treatments, prevention programs, and support services that ensure no one has to face cancer alone.
