Support me while I donate my hair for cancer

By Charline Roy

I’m fundraising for Cancer Council Victoria to help stop cancer.

Most of us know someone or have known someone battling with cancer. I have myself lost loved ones and witnessed the physical and emotional distress caused by the disease and this cause is very important to me. For that reason, after growing my hair for 3 years I have decided to get a bit chope and donate to charitable organisations which make wigs and to  fundraise some money to support the cause.

Cancer Council needs our support more than ever this year. Every dollar raised gives hope for a cancer free future. By supporting my event, you’re funding life-saving cancer treatments, prevention programs, and support services that ensure no one has to face cancer alone.

Every year more than 35,000 Victorians hear the words ‘you have cancer’. Thanks in part to generous Victorians, 7 in 10 of them will survive five years after a cancer diagnosis, but there’s still so much work to be done.

Thank you, lot of  love ?
