I’m fundraising for Cancer Council Victoria to help stop cancer.
We never got to meet our grandma. She died from cancer back in 1999, when our mum was only 16 years old. But even though we didn’t meet her, we feel like we know her because Mum is always telling us stories about her. She tells us how kind she was, how much she laughed, and how much love she had to give.
We want to do this fundraiser in her memory, so we can help other families who are going through cancer. Even though we never got to hug her ourselves, we know she’s part of us — and this is our way of saying thank you for the love she gave, and for keeping her spirit alive.
This is for you, Grandma. ?
