After 4 years of hair growth I've decided to chop my hair for Cancer Council!
Cancer can affect anyone, including some of the people I love. So, this year I felt compelled to do some of my own fundraising for the cause.
Those who know me well, know that I've been growing my hair because of a bet with my uncle. After 4 years of stubbornness, I’ve decided it’s time to go and I will be chopping off my hair to raise funds for Cancer Council on August 31st (Daffodil Day).
I have chosen Cancer Council as they provide many essential services to Australians in need.
In 2022, Cancer Council spent a total of $30.3 million funding research, which has helped to increase the survival rate by 30% in the last three decades.
They provide information about Cancer, how to prevent it, treatments and how to get tested.
Cancer council also provide essential access to support for people struggling with cancer, in the form of cancer nurses who can help discuss treatment options with you, provide counselling and more.
I hope you can support my endeavour, because in doing so you are assisting all these essential things that the Cancer Council provides.
