With one in three Victorians diagnosed with cancer by the age of 75, it’s a sad truth that most of us know someone who's been affected by it.

Because of people like you, Cancer Council Victoria can continue to invest in life-saving cancer research, prevention programs that help people actively reduce their cancer risk, as well support services for people affected by cancer.  

Your support will enable Cancer Council Victoria to continue to invest $25 million into research each year, as well as funding vital support services such as 13 11 20 support and information line, financial and legal assistance, free wigs to patients experiencing hair loss, and short holiday breaks.

I’m fundraising for Cancer Council Victoria to help stop cancer.

Every year more than 35,000 Victorians hear the words ‘you have cancer’.

Thanks in part to generous Victorians, 7 in 10 of them will survive five years after a cancer diagnosis, but there’s still so much work to be done.
