I’m fundraising for Cancer Council Victoria to help with cancer research

Every year more than 35,000 Victorians hear the words ‘you have cancer’ ....

And ...  Not so long ago I was one of them.  

Diagnosed with HER2+ and ER+ breast cancer, a plan was put together -   Mastectomy, reconstruction, 6 months of chemo, radiation, herceptin, nerlynx and letrazole made up my armour to fight this disease.

I was terrified ... but I was supported and loved by my husband Brian, my family, my friends and the wonderful team who put my treatment plan together... I couldn't have done it without them.

I am a cancer survivor... but I will always live in fear that my cancer will raise its ugly head again... so let's raise money to help prevent this disease  ... and in doing so, we remember those we have lost and those who are fighting the fight of their lives. 

I was planning on organising a fundraiser event, but due to covid restrictions, this is no longer possible. If you can donate to this page instead - that would be great!  By donating money to this page,  you’re funding life-saving cancer treatments, prevention programs, and support services that ensure no one has to face cancer alone.... because it is indeed ... a very tiresome and never-ending battle....

 No matter how large or small, know that your contribution has helped someone face their own battle.
