I’ve made an appointment for my head shave and hair donation on Friday afternoon 24th November 2023.I’m fundraising for Cancer Council Victoria to help stop cancer.
I want to help people that are battling cancer and those around them to give them hope for a brighter future. Our family has been touched by cancer and we are grateful that treatment allowed us to cherish an extra five years with our beloved Poppy Bruce.
I plan to shave all my hair off to raise money and awareness of cancer and I am doing it this year in memory of Poppy Bruce.
Every year more than 35,000 Victorians hear the words ‘you have cancer’.
Thanks in part to generous Victorians, 7 in 10 of them will survive five years after a cancer diagnosis, but there’s still so much work to be done.
Cancer Council needs our support more than ever this year. Every dollar raised gives hope for a cancer free future. By supporting my event, you’re funding life-saving cancer treatments, prevention programs, and support services that ensure no one has to face cancer alone.
