The Merry Marchers are a Wangaratta Charity Group who first formed as a Relay for Life team in 2011. The team participated in every Wangaratta Relay for Life Event until its conclusion in 2019.
During our 9-year involvement with Relay for Life we raised $107,870.78 to help assist the Cancer Council Victoria in their fight for a cure.
Despite Wangaratta’s final Relay for Life Event taking place in October 2019, The Merry Marchers decided to continue fundraising for the Cancer Council Victoria.
Since then, we have been pleased to have raised a further $13,228.27 despite having to cancel or downsize many of our regular fundraisers due to COVID restrictions. We look forward to continuing to support the Cancer Council.
