I’m fundraising for Cancer Council Victoria to help stop cancer.

The Gala is back for the sixth time!
The first 4 Gala's raised an incredible $85,307.96 for the Victorian Cancer Council. Then last year in 2024 we raised $20,001.28!!
Once we added these two figures together we discovered that 5 Gala's have raised a total of $105,309.24.
I mean, honestly. When I began these fundraisers that total seemed impossible, yet here we are, making change and stirring things up in the best way possible!
But does one even begin to sum up this incredible figure, or the impact this money will have on individuals throughout Victoria.
Over 5 years we have seen The Gala community grow, evolve, and morph into one of the most special nights where individuals come together to remember, honour and celebrate loved ones. Supported by countless companies, individuals and clubs - all of which make these fundraisers possible, and to whom I forever grateful.
Amongst the joy though, the reason we come together each year continually hangs heavy over our shoulders. During those 5 years many of the Gala supporters have had cancer knock on their door, and we have lost loved ones. Far too many of them.
The thing that keeps us going is that we have also heard of many successes and found hope amongst the darkness.
Help me make 2025 another year to remember; where we can stand as one, and continue to tackle this bastard disease that does not discriminate.
We are stronger as one.

Every year more than 35,000 Victorians hear the words ‘you have cancer’.
Thanks in part to generous Victorians, 7 in 10 of them will survive five years after a cancer diagnosis, but there’s still so much work to be done.
Cancer Council needs our support more than ever this year. Every dollar raised gives hope for a cancer free future. By supporting my event, you’re funding life-saving cancer treatments, prevention programs, and support services that ensure no one has to face cancer alone.
